Square and pavement

Are you planning to build a skatepark? If so, you should know what dimensions the square should have and what types of surfaces are best for this type of facility.

Are you planning to build a skatepark? If so, you should know what dimensions the square should have and what types of surfaces are best for this type of facility.

We recommend a square between 30m and 48m in length, which gives an area between 450 and 1600m2. The length of the plaza depends on the height and type of equipment, for example, low equipment requires a 30m-long plaza, while with platform and taller equipment we recommend a 40-45m-long plaza. The width of the square depends on the number of devices to be included in the skate park (usually about 20m). In case of planned expansion, we recommend making a wider square to avoid problems with later expansion. The square should have a one-sided slope of the square should be 0.5 to a maximum of 2%.

Types of plaza surface for skatepark:
1. ground concrete.
For skatepark paving, ground concrete or concrete with sprinkles is the most optimal solution. It is the least traumatic surface, and there is no rolling resistance. Examples of skateparks with concrete paving can be found on our website.

3 - Phaseless paving blocks
Pavement made of unphased or inverted pavement should be considered as a last resort, as any irregularities can be troublesome for skateboarders and skaters.

Miniramp is the only one of the skatepark devices that we can put practically anywhere. All you need is a flat, level square, with an area as small as 80m2. A miniramp differs from a large ramp in that its radius never reaches the vertical, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced skaters. A halfpipe, on the other hand, is a large element for advanced riders only. Miniramp is perfect for all disciplines. Skateboarders, inline skaters, BMX riders can cope with it.

Minirampa - an ideal solution for skateparks.

Minirampa is an integral part of skateparks, which can be placed in virtually any place. All you need is a level square with an area as small as 80m2 to build this attraction. The miniramp is characterized by the fact that its radius never reaches vertical, making it ideal for both beginners and advanced skaters. Unlike the halfpipe, which challenges advanced riders, the miniramp is a device that can be used by everyone, regardless of skill level. As a result, the miniramp is perfect for all disciplines, and skateboarders, inline skaters and BMX riders can freely practice their skills on it.
If you are planning to build a skatepark, a miniramp should be one of the basic elements. Its versatility and ability to be placed in almost any place makes it an extremely popular choice. In addition, having a miniramp will attract both beginners and more advanced extreme sports enthusiasts.
When designing a skatepark, you can\'t forget about safety zones. Safety zones are extremely important, as they ensure smooth passage and proper speed between each obstacle. Thus, safety zones also provide protection against possible accidents. Designing a skatepark with them in mind is not only a matter of providing protection, but also ensuring smooth passage and providing the best possible conditions for practicing and improving one\'s skills.
